New Survey Shows Housing Crisis Is Deepening The pew research center survey of 8,709 adults – including 7,166 registered voters – conducted april 8 14, 2024, examines americans’ views of the role and scope of government, the social safety net and long term trends in trust in the federal government. A new survey by the university of chicago harris school for public policy and the associated press norc center for public affairs research shows that 54% of americans think the system needs major changes and 12% believe it should be completely replaced.
