[Solved] Lighttable Showing Images That Shouldn't Be There - Darktable - Discuss.pixls.us Lesson learned: whenever it’s necessary to recreate the library database (~/.config/darktable/library.db), the cache needs also to be recreated. i wonder if one of the latest commits that changed the database could have missed cleaning the cache. Workaround: edit your darktablerc and change: ui last/import recursive=true to ui last/import recursive=false and restart darktable. and avoid using the recursive mode in the import dialog (or do this only after clicking on a directory after selecting a place). no, it’s not freezing, it just doesn’t import any images.

Darktable - Discuss.pixls.us I downloaded dt 5.2 from https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics:/darktable. 840 images and none display in the lighttable: i regenerated the cache with darktable generate cache. still the same problem. 5.01 was working fine. i did get the warning if i wanted to upgrade the dbs: data.db and library.db. i said yes. what am i missing?. I finally fixed it by going up to the “module order” filter in lighttable, selecting “none”, and then selecting “all images”. now all images show up. does anyone know why this happens? does this action cause some sort of background db refresh or something? i thought this would be helpful in case someone else experiences this. After i check a picture in development mode and i switch back to lighttable mode, the picture stays on background, making difficult to keep on working. check the picture in attachment that show what i’m trying to explain. moreover it seems several functionality gets compromised, like selection is no longer visible, and menus have changed size. Solution: it is a bug, but found a workaround: select “update path to files…” (note: i hadn’t changed any file paths so i’m glad this did the trick.) @wpferguson thanks for the suggestion, hadn’t tried this. it didn’t work but it did lead me to the workaround solution i posted above. thanks everyone for the quick replies!.
