Show Only Raw In Lighttable - Darktable - Discuss.pixls.us Is there an option in darktabe to select only raw images? something like this: preferences → file browser → parsed extensions (in rt)?. Darktable does “group” pictures together, so that the jpg and raw files are linked somehow. but the ui around this isn’t great. there’s a g button on the top right of the lighttable view that allows you to show a single picture (the raw, by default) instead of two which is nice.

There is an app from libraw, fastrawviewer, which reads raw files very quickly and allows you to check raw overexposure. i use it for culling and filtering large numbers of images. I upgraded from darktable 4.4 to 4.6 today. now whenever i try to import any existing files from my computer, the import is successful, but no files actually appear in the lighttable.

I upgraded from darktable 4.4 to 4.6 today. now whenever i try to import any existing files from my computer, the import is successful, but no files actually appear in the lighttable. I’m new to darktable, and i understand that the preview image of my .nrw file is a jpg in lighttable and it makes sense that when i switch to darkroom the image changes to accurately show the raw file. Long story short on the lighttable i use the collection filters. as i’ve test imported the tag hierachy and a couple of folders i can practice the filtering. I have been using a new camera for some time now, a lumix dc tz202d. unfortunately, darktable cannot process the raw files of this cam. the image is displayed on the light table, but when i open the darkroom i get the message: could not read camera white balance data from “filename”. This week end, i re tested the ability to get results close to the ooc jpeg with the scene linear workflow, on panasonic and nikon cameras, because i started to wonder if i was deluded after the load of incomprehension this has started. so, yes, it’s definitely possible and quite fast.
