PIXLS.US Blog - The Open Source Photography Course I made pixls.us to be a site and community focused around free/open source photography. i've got some articles and tutorials already up, and a discourse forum for the community to interact. so, i'd like to invite anyone who is (or is interested in) a free/open source software user to come join us!. A selection of free/libre open source software projects related to photography. for a newcomer (and some seasoned users) the number of different imaging projects can be a little overwhelming. the primary projects you will probably consider for general purpose photography will likely be a raw processor and possibly pixel editing. I'm hoping to highlight quality tutorials for photographic workflows using free software, workflow discussions, and to showcase works by notable photographers from the community. I created pixls.us with a specific mission statement: to provide tutorials, workflows and a showcase for high quality photography using free/open source software.

We are proud to announce that siril has joined pixls.us , the largest free/open source photography community. like other softwares such as the gimp, darktable or rawtherapee we now have a forum at this address: https://discuss.pixls.us/c/software/siril. Yet there aren’t nearly as many resources dedicated to photographic workflows with them. this site hopes to rectify that with a simple goal: to provide tutorials, workflows and a showcase for high quality photography and cinematography using free/open source software. I'm hoping to highlight quality tutorials for photographic workflows using free software, workflow discussions, and to showcase works by notable photographers from the community.
