Negative Numbers In Frame · Issue #2467 · GenericMappingTools/pygmt · GitHub This seems rather problematic, i.e. if an application is displaying numeric values in a textbox using the user's preferred format, which is typically what is done, then it will fail to convert that value back to its numeric type. If you enter a negative sign ( ) as the first character in the input, nothing happens. you should be able to enter a negative sign to start a negative number. use an inputnumber and try entering a negative number. what is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?.

We might be able to workaround the issue in nvda by checking the number formatting, and then checking the color of the text and adding a minus symbol, but this is error prone. to make this document accessible now, change the negative number format to one that includes a minus symbol. To get around this issue, you could load the intl.js polyfill in ie11. parentheses to indicate negative numbers is a legitimate way to do it. you'll see it a lot in accounting software. In our graph y values may have negative numbers , but those negative numbers getting displayed as special characters. please help us on this.
