To underscore these required advances, this chapter lists iot challenges and promising approaches by considering recent research and advances made in the iot ecosystem, as shown in fig. 1.1. in addition, it discusses emerging solutions based on cloud , fog , and mobile computing facilities. For purposes of this paper, the terms “internet of things” and “iot” refer broadly to the extension of network connectivity and computing capability to objects, devices, sensors, and items not ordinarily considered to be computers.
