Faerie island: based on the walking pattern the babayag tower took in the faerie island trailer, we can assume it went east. we aren't sure if it reached the "west" of the map, as the monster world is a globe, like ours, so for now, i'll leave it at the far east. The monster hunter franchise does not have a map of the world, only a few games (mh stories and mh world) have a "map". so i decided to make one myself. created after the release of mh rise, and features, i hope, every location in the games up to that point. To me i still think the new world is in the west, because of how much it looks like the continent shown to the west in the older official maps. to me it makes sense that they picked the ancient forest not because of proximity but because it's the only region with landable beaches.
