ICarsoft EU Pro Diagnostic Scan Tool Review - VTSAutoWorld
ICarsoft EU Pro Diagnostic Scan Tool Review - VTSAutoWorld The icarsoft tyt is one i know a lot of guys recommend .pulls codes and ahc pressures. icarsoft tyt ii toyota abs airbag code erase fault scan tool i905 new version | ebay evidently much easier to use and way less finicky than techstream. The icarsoft is great for the other vehicles that i have in my hoopty fleet of anything from mercedes, gmc, and volkswagen. i would consider the scangauge more of a monitor than an actual diagnostic scan tool.
ICarsoft CR Pro Diagnostic Scan Tool Review - VTSAutoWorld
ICarsoft CR Pro Diagnostic Scan Tool Review - VTSAutoWorld Icarsoft i905 will do a lot. don't have one nor have i used one but i know people who use it for ahc stuff. techstream isn't just limited to an xp environment, plenty running it in windows 8. edit. op, there is a big difference between reading global, generic obd codes and accessing toyota/lexus ecus for user adjustable settings. It might be a little early for edits, but for section a, item 5, it might be helpful to mention alternatives to techstream like the handheld obd readers from icarsoft (my recommendation is the tyt ii, but there are other models) and bluetooth readers like obdlink which can also be used to read ahc pressures without the need of a laptop. Hey guys just received my scan tool today. i just completely gave up on tech stream. i even bought a new laptop during christmas sale. so now with this unit do the car have to be running to check the ahc pressure? like live data settings? any other tips for this tool? i did search but. Does techstream allow your to make these changes or do you have to go to lexus stealership? i am primarily interested in making my remote unlock all doors on one click drives me nuts to have to press 2x. also would like to change some lighting options too. i don't have techstream yet (i've been using icarsoft). The tablet is great for a road trip, but as an “always in the car device”, a scangauge, or icarsoft device, is much more convenient, due to not having to worry if it is charged. And finally, is there so much more i can do with ts vs a good scanner tool such as the icarsoft tyt that it is hands down worth possible occasional headaches? i don’t think i would have patience for a tool that needs frequent massaging to keep operational, especially in the middle of nowheresville. thanks all. I got the icarsoft tyt ii from amazon. handheld unit that’s been really good and easy for reading pressures, scanning codes etc. it was about $130 but so easy to use and saves me the trouble of dealing with an ancient laptop, plus it’s compact and easy to stow away for trips.
