My girlfriend and i just started playing league about a month ago, but i’m really puzzled as to why we keep getting matched with players who are way above our skill level. we’re currently at levels 26 and 19, yet we’re frequently facing opponents with levels 200 and up.

I'm bronze 1 so why am i getting matched consistently against silver opponents? i've begun to notice that a good chunk of my games are against teams made up entirely of silver 4 or above, whereas my team can have another bronze 1 or bronze 2 player along with other silver players. is this normal?. Why am i being matched against much better players? i am currently bronze 4 and am being matched against gold players. i lose every lane because the enemy laner is always a lot better. in fact, my whole team seems to do really badly. my team is usually around the bronze rank while my enemies are around gold. this is immensely frustrating. Options for you are to play with randoms (or friends) and hope they can carry you to a win, which will over time give you some confidence to improve. also, spend time in less competitive modes, like payload/clash/plunder and try to improve. focus on controlling recoil and being aggressive.

Your k/d and spm has 0 correlation to your level. just shoot randomly and waste all your bullets. skill based match making is mainly based on how accurate you are with your shots and k/d. if you don’t wanna ruin your kd a lot then just keep using your bullets. Why am i being matched up with platinum 1’s and gold 3’s as a silver 2 player? i was not going to make this post originally because it has happened before with one rank above the grouping. however, platinum 1 is 2 ranks above what the matchmaking is supposed to match with.
