Operation doomsday is a good start. mm food and dangermouse album are also great entries. i would save madvillainly after your introduction as while it's sublime, it's quite raw too and you might discard it if you glance over it. thank you for taking the time to answer!.

Real : R/mfdoom Not trying to be a hater but newbies listen to the whole man’s catalog. enjoy the process of finding the aliases and characters of doom, the guest spots, the skits and samples that tell the myths, & the random verses here and there. it’s gonna be fun! no hand holding needed. I personally started with madvillainy, but it can be a little too much if you're not used to the sound. if you like straight up hip hop, you could start with vaudeville villain, or operation doomsday if you want something more "doom y?" or just go from last to first, for shits and giggles. This subreddit is dedicated to providing a space for people who would like to post their own potential death battle! matchups for people to see and debate over. So, i've only seen the all caps music video in regards to the mf doom story, (besides end of songs) and from that he seems like a good guy rather than villain. so is there more story or is "masked villain" just sorta the character and there's no official story?.

Thoughts? : R/mfdoom I was writing a comment and my brain went haywire, i couldn't decide on using a or an before mf doom. as in example: i'll be working on a mf doom mask hey an mf doom track would be fantastic. I listen to songs multiple years later after first hearing them and still find new bars or rhymes that impress me. he has a flow that could be hard to get into at first, but again it gets better the more you listen. I was one of the doom fans from gen z who heard about him through earl sweatshirt and tyler the creator and thought doom was the first rapper to do the whole superhero persona, plus the abstract style also speaking about himself in 3rd person.
