Devlog #009: Level Saving Functionality - Rocket Shipment By ChocolatePinecone Rocket shipment is a tricky physics based rocketship delivery game with an integrated level editor. I want the load button to activate a screen where i can choose a level from a list. this list is created out of the found level files. i'm also setting up a style class to store all the style settings, such as selection color, exit button size, etc. I've now implemented a basic re usable system for creating and closing screens. this basic system will be used for the "load level" functionality i'm working on right now. For now it only shows 2 possible levels to choose from, but the levels that are shown are actually fetched from the game folder and clicking will actually load the chosen level. the base of this screen is built, but needs to be extended. i'm building all these ui parts in a reusable way.

I'm not completely sure about the design at the moment, but it's functional. and i first want to have something playable before i start worrying about cosmetic stuff. Sliding menu screens, fading windows instead of hard visibility toggling, little popping animations when winning a level. i finally took some time and added them in the v0.0.5 pre alpha demo update. The majority of the work was not really the changing of the screen resolution itself, but the updating of all the things in screen. when resolution changes i have to update the background size, update gui positions and scales and also make sure things keep their aspect ratio.
