Back To Drawing, Feedback? : R/learnart One thing i’ve learned from drawing classes recently was that you want to avoid outlining features of the face, and instead use the shadows to form them. i know it’s ridiculous to hear but my professor has told us repeatedly that you have to draw what you see rather than what you think you see. The /r/learnart community is a beautiful place to get feedback and to ask questions without fear of derision. newbie questions are posted every single day and the answers are always fantastic. Just finished this drawing and i want to know how to improve my shading and my perspective because i've never tried to shade something like this especially in perspective. Your drawings here show that you need to work on your proportions, since it looks like your proportions on some parts are off. the easiest way to fix this is to take a step back and go to basics.
